∷ Xiao Zhan: Is 'truth' an important element in our creative process? What does the 'truth' in Cao Yu's works convey to everyone?
∷ Wan Fang: 'Truth' is the most important word in life; it includes authenticity and sincerity. My father, Cao Yu, looked with his eyes, felt with his emotions, thought with his mind, and then poured this sincerity into his works with his pen. Another aspect is authenticity; there is no absolute good or bad, right or wrong in the world. Everyone is their most genuine self, which might be the 'truth' in my father's works.

∷ Xiao Zhan: What is the core of your creations?
∷ Wan Fang: The real core of my works is 'questions'; confusion drives me to write. When we are happy, we tend to enjoy the moment, but only when we are in pain do we reflect, question, and seek answers.

∷ Xiao Zhan: Will classic plays change or adjust with the times?
∷ Wan Fang: Classics are determined by time; they will definitely change with the times, and this change is natural. However, the reason classics are classics is that the inherent value of the works and their unique vitality remain unchanged.

At the event, famous actor @何赛飞_ announced the opening of this drama season and officially announced the upcoming performances of 'Beijing People', 'Thunderstorm' & 'After the Thunderstorm', and 'New Wilderness' in December. ∷ 肖战：“真”是我们在创作过程中重要的元素吗？曹禺作品中的“真”是想传达给大家什么呢？
∷ 万方：“真”是生命中最重要的一个字，它包括真实、真诚。我的父亲曹禺他是在用眼睛看，用情感去感受，用头脑去思考，然后用笔把这份真诚倾注到作品中。还有一个是真实，世界上没有绝对的好坏善恶之分，每个人都是他最本真的样子，这可能就是我父亲作品中的“真”吧。

∷ 肖战：您创作的核心是什么呢？
∷ 万方：我作品中真正的内核是“疑问”，是困惑促使我去写作。在我们快乐的时候，可能更习惯去享受当下，只有当我们在痛苦之中，才会去思索、提问、寻找答案。

∷ 肖战：经典剧目会不会随着时代改变或调整呢？
∷ 万方：经典是由时间说了算的，它一定会随时代变化而改变，这个改变是自然而言的。但经典之所以是经典，正是因为剧目本身不变的价值与它特有的生命力。
