Recently, screenwriter Lan Xiaolong @伍千万里四十八, director @孔笙, and leading actor @肖战 accepted an interview. When talking about Mo Dexian, Xiao Zhan expressed that in order to portray the character well, he searched for a lot of metalworking materials. 'Dexian is the most ordinary person in the torrent of the times, with persistence and principles. He chooses to rise up against enemies and protect his home when they come. This sense of responsibility is the light that everyone should have in their hearts today.'
